Every country has its own ways of doing everyday common things, in this aspect INDIA is a lot different from US. To get to know Americans, it pays to know certain mannerisms and habits most Americans share.

1. If you are in a movie theater or at a concert or play,
it is never polite to talk during the performance, even in a whisper. Unlike INDIA where we have the whistles and pieces of paper flying in the air when our hero or heroines comes in.

2. If you need to buy a wedding gift, there is a peculiar--and very practical--
American custom. You should know about: the “bridal registry.” The couple to be married will register at a particular store, choosing the household goods, china, silver and other items they would like.
You can then contact that store and purchase one of the items, knowing all the time that you'll be getting the couple something they really want, instead of their fourth automatic toaster. so wat gift u wanna give is not entirely in ur hands!!!


3. If u blow a horn when u r driving, it implies that the person in front of u is wrong. So don’t blow a horn like u always do here in India.


4. After eating in a restaurant, u have to give 15% of the bill amount as a tip to the server there!!!


5. When u visit a barber shop, after you r done with ur hair, u have to give 10 dollars to the barber or he will see u as if u r a moron!


6. Social kissing, as a greeting, is also acceptable between men and women who know each other well and between women. Am sure the guys are gonna love it!!! Hehehe jus kidding!!!


7. While eating in US u gotta use your fork, knife and spoon to eat your food unlike here where u sit licking ur fingers after u r done.
